Orange Rolls

 

Orange roll

Time: 3 hours 20 minutes Active time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
1 recipe dinner rolls
3TB Butter
1 TB grated orange peel
2 TB freshly squeezed orange juice
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:
1. Follow instructions for the dinner rolls. After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide in half. Roll each half into a large rectangle (9 x 13 inches, 1/4 inch thick). 
2. Beat the other ingredients until smooth and creamy. Quantities are not precise and can be adjusted for your preference. 
3. Reserving half of the frosting for the topping, spread the other half on each rectangle. Starting with the long side, roll up jelly-roll style. Seal edges well, then cut with either a sharp knife or thread/floss. Let rise until double in bulk (about 1 hour). Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until nicely browned.
