German pancakes


Time: 25 minutes Active time: 5 minutes 

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs
1 dash salt

Instructions:
1. Assemble ingredients. Turn on the oven to 425F. Melt butter in a 9" square pan or cast iron skillet in the oven.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and add flour, milk, salt. Mix well. Pour in the pan.
3. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. It will puff up while cooking and collapse as cools. Sift powdered sugar over it and serve with maple syrup, lemon juice, blueberries or cinnamon and applesauce.

Notes: You can easily double the recipe and use a 9x13 pan.
